I found this photo in my pile. It’s a photo of one of my long time mentors Jim Thiebaud and his son Jack. Jack recently did his first 50-50.

Hey, thanks for the link to my shout out to Jim and MicE.
I wish the entire industry was comprised of hundred of Jims… he’s a great person and a huge asset to skateboarding. The fact that he runs a company of that size while maintaining and pushing the core soul of skating like he does is top notch.
Funny thing, I grew up as a kid in rural Louisiana with images of Jim (and other pros) ripped out of my Thrashers and tacked onto my wall… now, years later, I consider him a friend and am just as stoked on him today for skating through his knee injury as I was stoked in the 80’s doing boardslides to 5-0’s.
Jack’s gonna be a ripper, too.
